1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Bison And Grill Tracker developed by Soham Bhole LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("the App") and our website. By using the App or website, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, the following information is collected automatically:
- Anonymous user identifier: A unique identifier is generated and stored on your device when you first open the App. This identifier does not contain any personal information and is used to provide app functionality.
- Device language and region: The App detects your device's language and region settings to provide localized content.
- Google Advertising ID: The App collects your device's advertising identifier for attribution and analytics purposes. You can reset this identifier or opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
- Installation source and campaign data: The App collects information about how you discovered and installed the App (such as the installation source and the marketing campaign that led to the install) to understand how users find the App.
2.2 Built-in Browser
The App includes a built-in browser used to display the Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The built-in browser does not collect any additional data beyond what is described in the Automatically Collected Information section above. The built-in browser supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage as part of standard browser functionality. Any websites loaded in the built-in browser operate under their own privacy practices.
2.3 App-Specific Data
Local Data Storage
The App stores your preferences, saved recipes, grill logs, shopping lists, planner events, timer settings, and other app data locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers. You may delete this data at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Sharing
The App allows you to share content (such as recipes or shopping lists) using your device's built-in sharing options. When you choose to share, the content is passed to the sharing app you select (such as a messaging or email app). We do not collect or store any data about your sharing activity.
Custom Fonts
The App uses a custom font (Montserrat) that is bundled within the App. No network requests are made to load fonts, and no data is collected in connection with font usage.
2.4 Network Connections
Some network connections within the App may use unencrypted HTTP. While we strive to use secure connections wherever possible, data transmitted over unencrypted connections could potentially be intercepted by third parties.
2.5 Support and Bug Reports
The App's Support page allows you to send us a message or report a bug. When you submit a support request, you may provide:
- Your name and email address
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment — you can take a photo or video using your device's camera, or choose an existing file (such as a screenshot, image, or document) through your device's file picker
This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not access your camera directly — photo and video capture is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Understand how users discover and install the App
- Respond to support requests and resolve reported issues
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with the following third-party service for the purposes described in this policy:
- AppsFlyer — used for mobile attribution and marketing analytics. The advertising identifier, attribution data (installation source and campaign name), and anonymous user identifier are shared with AppsFlyer. AppsFlyer may also collect additional device data (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its standard operation. AppsFlyer Privacy Policy

Locally stored data is protected by your device's built-in security features. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
